CLUB CHAIRMAN/TREASURER: Pete Rowson

Peter has been involved with the club on and off for many  years dallying with other local teams in between.  Finally seeing the error of his ways he rejoined on a permanent basis in 1994 and assumed the mantle of Chairman commencing 2003. A bowler turned batsman who can also keep wicket, Peter can be considered to be more all-round than most of us.

SECRETARY: Tim Doran

Tim, “Windy”, Doran - a reference to his extravagant back swing before your imagination gets the better of you - joined the club in 1989, and since then has provided entertainment as well as valuable run-scoring for the club. Also a competent bowler, Tim has been one of the Saturday regulars for many years.

SATURDAY CAPTAIN: Phil Stride

Phil, one of the more noticeable members of the club, joined in 1985 and took over captaincy of the Saturday League side in 1995.  Principally a bowler, but more than capable of paddling a few runs as well, Phil’s contribution to the Saturday side over those years has been significant. His ability to make his voice heard clearly above all ambient noise is legendary!

SUNDAY CAPTAIN/FIXTURES SECRETARY: Pete Croxson

Peter joined IBMSHCC in 2003 and took over the role of Sunday skipper for the 2008 season. With good scores and good bowling figures to his name, Pete is one to let his figures and “railway sleeper with a handle on it” do the talking!

INDOOR LEAGUE SECRETARY: Sally Pearce

A new member of the club, Sally has jumped in with both feet taking on the role of Indoor Secretary, having been invited by the previous incumbent - Steve Pierce.  Sally has another talent as well, that being as a qualified scorer. Is she our first female committee member?

KIT MASTER: Andy White

Andy joined the club in 1995 and has been a spearhead of the bowling attack ever since.  As well as contributing wickets and keeping run rates down, Andy has also proved that he is more than capable of getting runs when necessary and is now entering his second stint on the committee.

ORDINARY MEMBER: John Lowe

John joined the club in 2001.  A wicket-keeper and batsman, he took over the role of Sunday captain from 2003 to 2007, probably the most successful spell of Sunday cricket in the club’s history. Good humoured until trees fall onto his car in the car park.

Indoor “A” Team Captain: Phil Stride

Having captained the side on the pitch for many years, Phil has now officially taken on the mantle of skipper.  For further details, see above.

Indoor “B” Team Captain: James White

Son of the venerable Andy White, the young and ever-growing James picked up the captaincy of the indoor “B” side for the 2009/10 season.  Almost certainly the youngest person ever to have an official role at the club.

WEBMASTER: Trevor Lee

Now having completed a quarter of a century at the club, Trevor played one season for the club in 1980 before joining on a permanent basis in 1984. Bowler turned batsman, he captained the Sunday side for 9 years up until 2002 and also performs the role of club statistician/historian.
